Two years back I posted a blog “CGTMSE – Collateral Free Loan Scheme”. It still attracts comment. The fact is many don’t get it. In fact of all those who commented two seemed to have got or getting CGTMSE Loan and they shared the information here. My special thanks to Nitin Shukla and Sowman Lala. CGTMSE Scheme is great! I have seen eligible entrepreneurs benefited. I was party to four such loans in the past one year. But Entrepreneurs seem to assume it is their prerogative. I receive quite a few calls these days on CGTMSE and most of the case are not fit enough to approach the banks under CGTMSE Scheme. Please read this blog post. This throws lot of light on CGTMSE Scheme.

When I wrote the first part of this post, I was hoping for one email asking for details. But, I was overwhelmed by the response. I over achieved by 100% I received two mails!! It was heartening! Hence I decided to write a sequel. This time, on the process involved and the scope of this mode of funding. Previous post gives a general intro.
The Process
Since this scheme does not have fixed norms, unlike standard Term Lending or Working Capital Finance, you have to project pragmatic financials and provide a compelling story board. (more…)

Many Micro, Small and Medium Business Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) may not know and Banks don’t popularize it for obvious reasons. But, Collateral free fund based limit up to a maximum of Rs.100 lacs is available for MSEs.
CGTMSE – Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises, guarantees collateral free credit up to a maximum of Rs.100 lacs through banks.
